So let’s see how you can root your device with the combination of CF auto root.

Usefulness of root Galaxy S5

This was launched to the public in April 2014 as a powered device with Android 4.4.2. And you are able to upgrade this for Android Marshmallow 6.0. The S series is a one of leading and advanced one released among Samsung devices.

When you are able to upgrade the device to Marshmallow, it is not what the entire your device able to do. Because the manufacturer has some conditions on you even the device is upgradable. The reason is, now your device is an older release while the recent Galaxy S7 too is there to compete with you. Therefore, you can do nothing much to make your device one of performing its highest using official methods. With that we hope this will make you easier to have a new born one without removing your usual device.

What are the main tools we have to use this rooting process?

As afore mentioned, there are two tools that you have to download for this process. They call Odin download and CF auto root packages. Both tools come as zip folders that can only use with Odin. Even though there are some rooting guides only using Samsung Odin, the tool CF auto root is a tool that can use as a source of the Odin tool. Anyhow, both are using for root and ROM flashing of advanced Samsung devices. While Odin was a release of Samsung Inc, CF auto root is from Chainfire.
